Are You Rational Enough in Most Situation?

Dear Annur Haifa,

If you are not sure of any news, anything you heard, anything you read, anything you saw. If this happened, then you must ASK. You definitely need to INVESTIGATE because sometimes you may believe in something wrong.  Once you manage to get solid evidences, then only you could make a wise judgment. Yes, we are all humans after all and obviously there is always Satan beside us whispering evil every second.  But shouldn’t we be patience and think rationally before jumping into an obtuse conclusion?

The Prophet PBUH had forbid ask to simply judge people or believe rumor from untruthful sources. Allah said in the holy Quran, “O you who believe! If an evil-doer comes to you with a report, look carefully into it, lest you harm a people in ignorance, then be sorry for what you have done” (49:06)

It would be worrisome if you erroneously judge innocent people because you are in a hurry to make decisions based on the news received. In this case, obviously you have mistreat that person with a despotic punishment.

Open your heart for others. Forgive yourself and people around you.
